Brand Spotlight
French Sportswear Receives a Refresh

On the eve of the US Open, Lacoste celebrated its ambassador Novak Djokovic by transforming the iconic Crocodile logo into a GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). This symbolic metamorphosis pays tribute to a player who has pushed the boundaries of greatness and transcended what was thought possible in the world of tennis. A brave, if temporary, pivot for such a distinctive label. It just goes to show that getting out of your comfort zone can create positive noise while also being respectful to heritage and existing brand identity.
This collaboration resonates particularly strongly on American soil, the stage of René Lacoste’s great achievements – where he was first given the nickname “Crocodile,” where he won the US Championship in 1926 and 1927, and where he first conceived the idea of the now celebrated polo shirt.

Hot Tip
First Impressions Take 3 Seconds
Studies show visitors decide whether to stay on your website in under 3 seconds.
Here’s how to grab their attention fast:
Use a clear headline that says what you do.
Keep your navigation simple (3–5 main links max).
Add a strong visual or brand image above the fold. Or keep things distinctively pared back instead.
Test your homepage by asking a friend, “Can you tell what I offer in 5 seconds?”

What to Watch This Autumn
Minimalism is making a comeback, but with personality — think clean layouts juxtaposed by playful font pairings. This approach helps companies look both professional and approachable.
